Fit India Movement

The Fit India Movement initiated by Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being observed nation wide understanding its importance of being fit for overall well-being on day one YOGA was practiced in the assembly so as to create its awareness and importance. Making kids exercise is not easy because the modern gadgets are taking away most of their free time and for the same reason of being physically active on second day "Free Hand Exercise" was practiced in the assembly at R. D. Public School for promoting the Fit India Movement. The importance of sports and fitness in one’s life is invaluable. Playing sports inculcates team spirit, develops strategic & leadership skills and goal setting. Considering its importance on day third the speech was delivered by the student on the topic "Khelo India Program and its importance"

Sport Quiz

Sports Quiz was conducted in assembly so as to check the understanding and knowledge of the students in the filed of sports.

Sport Activity

Speeches on the topic Traditional Games, Regional Games and Indigenous Games were delivered by the students in which they emphasized how it is helpful to develop the skills like coordination, concentration, logical thinking, improving memory power and mathematical skills. Second activity sports and games were also conducted by all the sports teachers which includes kabbadi, Langadi, Pitoo and Tug of War, students enjoyed a lot and they had a great fun and great time.
